Last year, at the height of the pandemic, a new campaign called the “All for Farmers” initiative was launched to help farmers across the country who were facing financial hardship. Through a partnership with the non-profit American Farmland Trust (AFT), Tillamook awarded 130 grants to farmers in 25 states. The grants mainly went to under-represented populations in the farming community, including female, nonbinary, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and beginning farmers. Tillamook County Creamery Association – the Oregon-based dairy co-op known for its epic cheese, ice cream, and yogurt – is a champion for the future of farming.

Each year, we recognize National Farmer’s Day to thank farmers and acknowledge the hard work that goes into feeding the world. Of course, this year the pandemic made a tough job even more difficult – which is why the “All for Farmers” initiative is providing support for farmers facing financial hardship.
