GivingTuesday is November 30 this year. It’s an international day of giving recognized on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Now in its ninth year, GivingTuesday has changed over time, but one thing remains the same – the impact of giving during one-day celebrations, like GivingTuesday, and year-round. With the immense change we’ve all experienced this year, and the unique challenges that nonprofit and social good organizations are facing, it’s never been more important to contribute to causes that mean the most to us and to help these organizations.
Late Night Health and PodClips offer a discussion on the importance of GivingTuesday from Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good. Blackbaud serves the entire social good community, which includes nonprofits, foundations, corporations, education institutions, healthcare institutions, arts and cultural organizations, faith communities, and individual change agents. Rachel Hutchisson, VP of Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy at Blackbaud, explains the importance of GivingTuesday and how giving during one-day and year-round campaigns can truly change lives:
